I am a little confused about this essay contest. Is it true that members of cocteautwinsforums.com were promised via email "in all unfairness" garaunteed copies of said CDs if they DID NOT enter the contest? That the forum crew/moderators would "donn their black robes" and make this happen? These are the exact words apparently contained in the member's email received from the forum:

Universal records are providing some freebie copies of the upcoming remastered editions of both
Four Calendar Café and Milk & Kisses.

We would like it if you turned down the opportunity to win one of these CD's. We feel that contests are a boring way to unload these cocteautreasures. If you do not participate in the contest our moderators will donn there black robes and select you by choice and all unfairness to be one of the recipients to claim one of these freebies. All you have to do is NOT
enter our "Essence" contest.

Regards, cocteautwinsforums.com Team"

The said member questioned this email and was assured by the sssender, apparently MMMENDER herself, that "....that's the email i sent out to all the forum members....but i've also posted this information on 4ad, livejournal, tribe and myspace." Said member again questioned the sssender and the reply was "positive, it's the exact email i sent out. you'll notice it's addressed to your forum username, it was sent through the forum control panel i assure you."
