that I'm glad I found this tribe. Honestly, I am the only person I know who has been in love with CT for years. Most people poke fun at me for liking them...guess they just dont understand ;) So, yeah...just wanted to express my relief ;)

i remember my senior year hearing that fateful song, heaven or las vegas, on 120 minutes and was hypnotized, i remain so. the layers of sound and rich velvetty vocalizations have nabbed more hearts than many realize.
yeah i had a gf kind've get me into them ... i still associate their music with her unfortunately but yeah, there's a lot of good sounds on each and every album ... especially the newer ones ...

Wow! Heaven Or Las Vegas was already college for me. The 1st time I heard Treasure I was in 10th grade and it changed my life (around the same time that I heard the 1st Dead Can Dance album and Kate Bush's The Dreaming)! Music was definetely at an all time high in the 80's!!!
pearly dew drop drops at a goth club was my first mind blower in the late 80s...

Carolyn's Fingers for me in high school. And when I first heard Pearly-Dew-Drops Drops I was blown away again. I thought, "Oh my god, a song like heart-ache."

I got into CT when I was 18 or 19. I missed the chance to see them in concert and then they broke up. I had tickets to see them at Coachella and they cancelled. I think they're one of the most interesting bands ever, and never seeing them live has made them even more intriguing/mysterious to me.
